Moving to Bristol in 2002, Frankie met some remarkable individuals involved inthe music industry through late night sorties to gigs, underground parties andfrequenting 24 hour speak easy’s. Thus inadvertently falling into the promotion of d.i.y. parties, putting on nights in back rooms/cellars and aboard boats.
The reason…. “for the love of doing it really, I love a party with a happy atmosphere” admits Frank shamefully, “we did some for charity, but the main reason for every night was getting the music we love represented wherever we could”.
Taking control of the PR angle, and more recently, DJ’ing duties at Buoyancy, Frankie is the straight talking bossy, elder statesmen of the Buoyancy Crew. Yet Frankie still delights in boasting about staying up past his bedtimeand doing sweet jumps on his bike. He dreams of one day becoming a true gent, although remains realistic.
