Lukas
In retrospect, Lukas’ involvement with music began way before he had any say in the matter. The son of a Jazz guitarist, and grandson to the head of a touring orchestra, sound has always played on the mind of the lad.
Starting out on the drums, playing in a few funk outfits around his now Native Bristol, DJ’ing wherever and whenever possible, it was only a matter of time before his own rhymical compositions begun to emerge.
Musical production-addiction began to take hold, so in turn did the love of putting on a good party… and after a few one off cheeky shindigs, the buoyancy party proposition was born.
Lukas is in house designer, DJ and promoter in the Buoyancy operation. He also designs visual stuff for other people too, and composes for TV film and radio. Credits include a recent Channel 4 documentary, and a forthcoming release on Berlin based label, Dirt Crew recordings.
